He holds degrees in Operations Research from Cornell University and has completed management studies at the MIT Sloan School of Management.

In 2007, after nearly a decade in the United States, Vishal returned to India and co-founded AvenuesAI alongside former Amazon colleagues. Today, the company has grown into one of the country’s leading fintech and payment infrastructure providers, processing over $100 billion in annual transaction value and serving more than 10 million merchants and businesses.

Beyond his corporate responsibilities, Vishal serves as Technical Advisor to the Indian AI Research Organisation (IAIRO), a rapidly emerging institution focused on advancing India’s sovereign AI capabilities. Mr. Vishwas Patel is the founder of the payment gateway brand, CCAvenue, founded in the year 2001. CCAvenue is among the top 3 online payment gateway platforms in India and also ranks number 2 in the UAE among non-bank private digital payment companies. CCAvenue was recently honored with the Economic Times Best BFSI Brands 2021 Accolade and has been selected second year in a row as among India’s renowned and most trusted brands by Superbrands India.

Under his leadership IAL has developed a full stack payments portfolio covering Payments Acquiring, Payments Issuance, Domestic and International Remittance and Assisted Commerce in financial services.He has also expanded payments business in international markets covering UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, and the USA, and plans to expand in multiple geographies in the coming years to make the payments business global.

Mr. Patel has studied law and was a practicing counsel on the original side of the Bombay High Court.

Mr. Vishwas Patel has made significant contribution towards shaping and giving direction to the digital payments industry for nearly two decades in India.

He is currently the Chairman of the Payments Council of India, the primary industry body representing all the digital payments providers in India. PCI works closely with the regulators i.e. Reserve Bank of India (RBI), Finance Ministry and any similar government, departments, bodies or Institution to make ‘India a less cash society’. He also serves as a member in various RBI committees to deepen digital payments in India.

He has over 22+ years of experience in Accounts and Audit, Taxation, Corporate Finance, Financial Control, and Strategic Planning for leading Companies in technology and manufacturing. Over the last 22 years, Mr. Sunil Bhagat has served across numerous financial leadership roles in several Companies including Piramal Glass Limited, Unimark Remedies Limited and Shalby Limited where he had played critical roles enabling him to lead teams to focus on financial planning, Organic and Inorganic Growth, Profitability and tax compliances.

Mr. Shyamal Trivedi, Senior Vice President and Company Secretary, serves as the Chief Compliance Officer and heads the Secretarial Department. He is a qualified Company Secretary and a Fellow Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI). He also holds a Master’s degree in Commerce and a Bachelor’s degree in Law from Gujarat University.

Mr. Trivedi has over 25 years of extensive professional experience, including five years in the banking sector and more than eight years in investment banking. He brings deep expertise in secretarial and corporate law matters, regulatory liaison, and ensuring comprehensive statutory and regulatory compliance. His experience also includes advising management on legal and regulatory matters, supporting the successful execution of mergers and acquisitions, and ensuring the effective implementation of compliance frameworks across the organization.

As Group Chief Information Officer, Anupama’s extensive hands-on experience with IT and related business processes has helped her guide the organization in critical techno-commercial functions. She is responsible for the strategic planning and scoping functional requirements and specs for new ventures and projects. Her past experience as project co-ordinator in the field of architecture in USA, as well as the web application development in India, has helped her master the intricacies of one of her key responsibilities – that of Planning and Implementation.

Vivek is the Group Chief Operating Officer at the Payments Division of AvenuesAI Limited. With over 30 years of work experience, he is currently looking after international expansion, infrastructure & resource planning and development, commercial operations, analytics and business intelligence. He has worn many hats during the 20 years that he has spent in the management team of the Company and has played an important strategic role in building the business.

Prior to joining the Company in 2002, Vivek spent 13 years in a decision making position in the Communications sector. He has helped build many leading national and MNC brands while working in the Indian subsidiaries of some of the top global giants including WPP Group, Draft FCB and Grey Worldwide.

Arun leads the organization in the Middle East and is currently responsible for its expansion in the KSA and the Emirates. His core competencies include Marketing Management, Business Operations, E-commerce, Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Market Research, and Management functions. Arun has an impeccable track record of achieving optimum results for the organisation in the digital payments sector for the past 12 years in India and the Middle East. He has been constantly exploring new business opportunities for CCAvenue in the region, while building and maintaining strategic relationships with various stakeholders including clients, banks and other payment associates of the company.

Ankit leads the company’s India business and has been entrusted with making critical decisions for accelerating the growth of the organisation. His all-round experience in every aspect of business and his good analytical skills has proved invaluable in the company’s quest to attain perfection in various demanding business-driven models. Ankit has a successful track record in IT leadership of almost 15 years with broad experience across infrastructure operations, network management, process development, application development/deployment, database management, website operations, developing – structural designs to optimize software operations, booking engines, fares management systems and other external connectivity solutions. During his tenure, he has also worked as the Chief Technology Officer of the company. He managed the company’s technology infrastructure, with designated staff and resources. Rajesh Kumar SA joined AvenuesAI Ltd to redefine the trajectory of the company’s artificial intelligence business. He holds a degree of BE in Computer Science from UVCE, Bangalore. With over 16 years of dedicated experience in deep tech, Mr. Rajesh Kumar has garnered acclaim for his contributions to the development of cutting-edge AI products, models, and solutions.

As a researcher and technologist, Mr. Kumar boasts of having multiple hackathon victories and also holds four granted US patents in the fields of deep learning, machine learning, fashion styling, and video analytics. Prior to joining AvenuesAI Ltd, Mr. Kumar served as the Director of Machine Learning at Meesho, where he developed intelligent systems for pricing, fraud detection, and supplier growth. Prior to Meesho, Rajesh also co-founded Streamoid, a deep-tech computer vision company in Fashion AI space.

Smita serves as the Group Chief Risk Officer, leading and managing the Legal, Risk and Regulatory affairs of AvenuesAI and its three international subsidiary companies. She has been associated with the company for the past two decades advising the company’s executive team, and the operations and marketing team on a variety of issues and maintains the company’s relationships with external legal counsel. Under her, the AvenuesAI Legal Department has played a leading role in corporate communications, corporate compliance and intellectual property strategy. Smita is responsible for ensuring that the work processes related to legal issues, documentation, risk management and recovery are in place and running smoothly. Her past legal experience has proven invaluable in her achievement of the highest standards in risk mitigation and recovery management. Her key responsibilities include continued improvement of the work processes involving legal documentation processes, risk management and to evolve path breaking risk management tools which will help reduce the company risk profile even further.

Prior to joining AvenuesAI, Smita served as counsel for nine years with designated Senior Counsel P.K. Dhakephalkar in Bombay High Court, focusing on corporate finance, securities law compliance, and general corporate counseling. She has received a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from the University of Mumbai, a LLB degree and an LL.M. in Consumer Protection Law and Hindu Law from the University Of Mumbai. Smita is a member of the Bar Council Of Maharashtra and Goa and the Advocates Association of Western India.

A graduate in Design & Applied Arts, Ms Baijul Mehta is the Group Chief Creative Officer – Payments Services Division of AvenuesAI Ltd. With over 24 years of work experience, she currently leads the company’s brand development through creative output, communication, and the advancement of artistic design strategies, setting an overall creative direction for the entire team.

Her 22 years of leadership tenure with the company bring a keen understanding of the business, along with deep insights into aligning creative strategy, process development, and application design. She has been instrumental in building the business and shaping the face of all the brands, utilising effective and efficient communication that combines design and functionality harmoniously to drive a seamless brand experience, ultimately supporting the company’s business goals.

Baijul has been part of the core management team that has been responsible for building pioneering payment solutions in India and other regions. As the Group Chief Creative Officer, she has been responsible for overseeing the strategy and execution of all creative goals for its brands and products.
